Out of the total land of Nepal 23% is covered by 9 National parks, 6 conservation areas, 3 wildlife areas and 1 hunting reserve.

Bardia National Park is one of the largest wildlife reserve found, covering the area of 968kms. It is in the far southwest corner of the open Nepal bounded by middle hills in the north and Karnali River to the west and south. From 1976-1988 Bardia Reserve has been expanding from 368s q.km -968s q.km. Later in 1988 only it got the title of the National Park.

Bardia National Park provides an excellent habitat for more than 40 mammal species, 150 species of reptiles and fish, over 400 species of birds. The Bardia National Park is full of rhinos, wild elephant,a royal Bengal tiger, swamp deer, gharial crocodile, marsh mugger, crocodile, Gangetic dolphins, black buck, leopard, lesser cats, the blue bull(nilgai) , the langur, sloth bear and the wild bear.

At the bank of the one of the largest River; Karnali River beautiful and colourful birds can be seen. Endangered birds like Bengal Florian, Lesser Florian, Silver eared Mesia and Sarus crane.

Bardia National Park trip includes elephant ride, jeep drives, canoe ride, jungle walks where possible and bird watching tours. You can visit all over the year, but the best time to visit the park are from Oct-April as in the monsoon time the roads and rivers become impassable. Bardia National Park has plenty to explore and a great variety of species to encounter.

Arrive at Kathmandu airport.

Full day Kathmandu heritage sightseeing.

Fly to Nepalgunj and transfer to the Bardiya National Park.

Day 4

Jungle and culture explore day.

Day 5

Explore the Tiger land and Jeep/ Elephant Safari.

Day 6

Bird watching tour early in the morning and depart to Kathmandu.
